Day 2 on the VA MOVE program
Saturday, June 27, 2020
I had IBS (Irritable Bowel Snydrome) this morning. It is good for one thing-it helps to lower my weight! Four pounds gone since yesterday! I keep a log by the toilet where my scale is on the floor, and log my exercise since I do participate in the MOVE Program by using a phone. I will have my information ready when I call next Friday, be the Lord Willing.
My husband and I went for a walk last night. This is the first time I have walked since moving here, other than in our back yard. We have an acre of property and live on a dead-end street. The street has an T-intersection at one end and there are businesses along that part. There was a couple riding around in a golf cart and very little traffic last night. You have to turn off that street to get to the main road, US 23. Bayou was in hunting mode and wanted to go into high grass and weeds and also get near to a ditch. I suppose to a dog, these were interesting places to sniff.
Nothing much went on today with me since I was occupied with my problem. I am working on Feb. 2019 receipts and hope to finish with that month today.
I went to the basement and found a large puddle of water. Our dehumidifier was unplugged and we think that is where the water came from. We cleaned up that mess. One thing I did to help me lose weight was to put my desk in the basement when we moved in. I have 13 steps to go up and down if I use my computer. It all helps toward getting me under 200 pounds.
