7/10/2020 TODAY'S TIP

Today is a bit out of the norm for these SparkFamily Tips. Yesterday was my GrandSon's 19th Birthday. So instead of sitting at the Word Processor, reviewing my thoughts and tip's from the previous 40 - 50 years, and how they impact all of us today, I spent the day with Sgt. DPR3 (his StarWars ID), USMC.
"DP" and I got away from discussion of our mutual military lives. We focused on the World's Pandemic. We focused on what are we doing to straighten the curve. "DP" is smarter that this old man.
The major accomplishment of my last nine months has been publishing this blog. It didn't seem to be much of a big deal until recently I failed to upload one.
That got my to thinking about my original SparkTeam Challenge. I had wanted NOT to Blog, but to get my Teammates involved in working out at home with various w/o videos on this platform and others. Sort of a group exercise-in-place. Then this morning when I opened my SparkPeople account. I can across this SparkArticle on my Start Page.
As I did my A.M Tea/Toast/and Treadmill I took the time to read it.
Within it's structure it's a very worthwhile read. Here's the link:

Well I would like to add two things to this article.
First is music as a motivator. Here is a link to the SparkPeople Music Center where you can find a myriad of w/o playlists you can add to your routine.

Also if you have a music streaming service try doing a channel search for a w/o music genre you find uplifting while you are downloading.

And lastly, I come full circle with my all-time FAVORITE WORKOUT GURU. Sorry Coach Nicole. Here is the link for a YouTube video of THE JACK LALANNE SHOW.

A byword to LaLanne's technique was every three weeks to change your workout so you body does not develop a muscle memory and your efforts are constantly challenged. Not BIG changes. But slight alterations in your routine. The introduction and deletion of exercises every three weeks. "Let's get rid of the old you and bring in the new." ~ Jack LaLanne

Well this is longer that my desired length. And bit more gossipy.
Wear a Face Mask. #StayHome2StaySafe
