Today is day 1 of my new journey to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Over the last 10 plus years, I have been trying to lose weight and not having much success. I did lose 40 lbs last year, but over the last 6 months, I gained most of it back.
I would like to lose 60 lbs, but I'm taking it 5 lbs at a time. I will celebrate each victory no matter how small.
Today went well. I was a little tired, but I don't think I was drinking enough water. I keep myself busy enough that I don't really think about eating unless I am truly hungry. Which if I'm really into a project, I can go all day without thinking about food. I try not to do that, as I know that's not healthy either.
I'm going to succeed this time. It really helps that my husband and daughter are doing it with me.
