07/23/20 - Day 4

Thursday, July 23, 2020

I can't believe that tomorrow is Friday already. This week just flew by. Of course, I've been feeling crappy most of the week. I'm feeling much better today. No headache and a little more energy than I've been having. I haven't had many issues with cravings, however my husband is having "large plate of food" withdrawal. He thinks because he doesn't have a large plate to eat, he's hungry. I keep telling him he needs to keep himself busy. He has a "honey-do" list, but he seems to be a little sluggish this week. On top of that, he's been on furlough from work since the middle of April. I had a busy day with clients and tomorrow is booked up with meetings. I was always afraid to start my own business because I thought I would mess it up. My husband encouraged me to jump in and just do it. I'm so glad I did. I've met so many new people in all walks of life. This has been a rough first week on my new healthy lifestyle, but I'm looking forward to stepping on the scale on Monday. Not that I want to rush my weekend.

Keeping your mind and body busy helps and so does using smaller plates. During the 5% challenge we needed to use 9" plates and even though the portions were measured my husband thought I had more food than him.
    Have a wonderful Friday emoticon

Glad you’re feeling better. Hope your husband gets over his withdrawal from food too. Most men seem to have an easier job of losing weight than women, I think. I know my hubby does.
