Week Four 5% Summer Challenge

Our weekly challenge has to do with daily stretching:
"Stretching is so natural, yet we don’t do it often enough. Stretching will increase your flexibility and increase your range of motion. Here are some benefits of stretching.
• Reduce muscle tension
• Increase range of movement in the joints
• Enhance muscular coordination
• Increase circulation of the blood to various parts of the body
• Increase energy levels (resulting from increased circulation)
Experts recommend that people stretch for 10-15 minutes per day. "
I have already incorporated chair yoga into my daily routine 4-6 times a week, 40 minutes each time. So I enjoy stretching and miss it when I have not done stretching.
The challenge that carries over from Week 3...well, that is a different story. Here is a description:
" 'Awesome' Out of Sight Out of Mind, OSOM - keep naughty foods (you know what they are!) out of sight and DO NOT go looking for them = 10 points per day - all or nothing. Daily MAXIMUM 10 points"
I would like to shoot for a Weekly Warrior Badge this week. Only a couple more weeks until the start of teaching school and I want to be fit and motivated. I want good, healthy habits engrained in me before the stress of work.
