DGS8 had a few last weeks of baseball in northern GA so we headed over there to watch.
My official start day is August 4th.

In the three weeks between July 15th and then, I picked up a pound on the road,

not bad for not being in control. I haven't had a cookie

or a bagged chip

for over a month but did eat a donut

Sunday afternoon because DH was being a pain....cutting off my nose to spite my face so to speak.
I got home Monday, put in a grocery order,

picked up some compliant take out and got ready to begin.
This time, I will be keeping it simple. I got some chicken,

beef,

veggies,

fruit,

nuts, potatoes.

Each meal will be a mix and match

of whatever I am hungry for. My mid day meal is either a small meal or a big snack. Yesterday I had fruit with some raw cashews and almonds. Today I was hungrier and so had a big salad and some shredded pork.
My doc put me on Metamucil.....I am using the unflavored/ no sugar variety of psyllium. I took some before lunch and then really filled up. Trial and error, off we go. I think I'll shoot it down and wait an hour to see if and how hungry I am before choosing lunch.
I made it to 10:30 AM

before eating breakfast both days and ate dinner last night by 7PM

and plan to tonight so a 9:15 IF schedule. I am not hard wired into any fixed plan, would like to stay under 10:14, but fooling my body is something that has worked in the past so I won't tell it my plan ahead of time.
I blogged here my first Whole30 three years ago and I plan to read a few entries every couple of days to refresh my memory and get some menu ideas when bored.
