Day 14 of No Sugar Challenge

Today was Day 14 and it was very much a success. Today was my TOPS meeting and usually I eat things after the meeting is over that are not conducive to weight loss or better health. You know, things like cookies, cake, ice cream, cheeseburgers with buns, etc. Well, since being on the challenge, I have not done any of that self sabotage. So there is another benefit of the challenge for me. I lost 1.8 today and was very disappointed that it wasn't more. I have to learn to be patient and realize that I am not going to take it off like I did when I was a young chick. lol. Anyway, as I have recounted in previous blogs, there have been so many other improvements not just weight loss. I think sometimes I put too much emphasis on the scale and I tend to forget about other areas of my life that have been impacted in a positive way. At then end of the challenge I will not only record my weight loss, but lost inches as well.

    I started out doing that too. Putting all of my success into what the scale said. Sunday starts week 7 for me and I didn't figure out until week 5 that I couldn't do that. My weight would fluctuate, sometimes daily. Congratulations on your success!
