Still Going Strong

I haven't blog in a couple of days, but I am still going strong on the No Sugar Challenge. Today is Day 16 . The only sugar I have had was that cheesecake last Friday.

I do plan to challenge myself to another 21 days of No Sugar, but also want to begin a new challenge as well. I think probably something to do with exercise. I am thinking a walking challenge would be best. I know many of you walk miles each day and I am thinking that would be a good goal and challenge for me. I would start off with walking some each day and eventually work up to a mile and then more. If you all have any tips or advice, I would love to consider them.

Today, I met a friend at our local Braums Ice Cream Store for a visit. She told me on the phone she was planning to get a sundae. Knowing she is concerned about her weight, I didn't say anything. When she arrived, she saw me purchasing an ICE Sparkling favored drink. They are carb free and have only 5 calories for the bottled. Well, she changed her mind and bought one instead of the sundae. We had a nice visit and neither one of us ate something fattening. We are walking in the morning, so maybe we will lose this weight together and inspire each other toward better health.

Tomorrow is a big day because it is my husband's last day at work. He is retiring. We are going out to celebrate but I plan to behave and have NO SUGAR.
