Day 1 of a month of being healthy

September 1st has arrived and although fall doesn't officially start for another 3 weeks it seems like a good time for a new beginning. The pandemic has not been kind to me. Between Christmas and Memorial Day I gained an extra 30 pounds. Stress and weight gain unfortunately go hand in hand with me. Over the summer I have struggled to lose any of it. I will lose 4 or 5 pounds and then have a bad week end and gain it all back.In August I was able to put together a somewhat consistent routine of exercising 4 days a week. In September I am going to work on expanding my exercise routine and work on making healthier food choices. I am totally ripping of Rebel Wilson's Year of Health except right now all I can even think about is a month. Secretly I am just hoping to make it through Labor Day week end. I am hoping by committing to being healthy I can over come my all or nothing approach to food. The first step in a journey starts somewhere so I guess this is my first step in my month of health.
