Struggling still with my health righft now.

Sunday, September 13, 2020

For those of you who are wondering I am still currently struggling with constipation that has not gone away. However it has gotten progressively worse over the past couple weeks and as of last Wednesday I ended up in the emergency room and I was the one who called 911. The reason why is simple I was weak because of blood in my stool which it's still not known or found out at this point. At this point it comes and it goes and I am very frustrated with the current situation and I just want to pull my hair out because this is getting to the point that I don't know how much more I can take before I break. I'm going in for a colonoscopy on the 23rd to find out the reason for the bleeding. Hopefully it will locate the source and stop it because I am frankly frustrated and getting more and more tired of this. This has been going on for over a month close to 2 months now and there's one thing I would prefer I would prefer that it end. I would rather have the ability where my body is back to what's normal in between functions than this where I don't know what's happening. Because of this whole mess I had to go back to my original provider because the one I did see before in Green Bay probably is the reason this happened because he didn't do what he was supposed to. He should have checked my conditions against the pills I take and the ones he wanted me to take to see what would be a good fit for me and that he did not do like most of my doctors do. That being said I know now that I was Hasty in my decision making and I won't do it again. All I ask for right now is prayers as my body heals and mends itself from this fiasco

Prayers for you today with the colonoscopy. Praying for you to have the peace that passes understanding, that the colonoscopy will reveal answers for why you’re having troubles, and peace for your mom who must be worried to pieces for you. Enjoy a good meal once you’ve got it done. Be well, be happy.

I'm sorry you are going through this. My health is one thing after another and it does knock me down. Sounds like you question your doctors - great! Over the years, I've learned to do my own investigation and ask questions.

So sorry - it seems things hit you one after the other. Am glad you are having a colonscope down as that will see if there is something wrong in the bowels and intestines. I have this done every 4 years due to polps. As for the doc giving you meds that made things worse - one thing I have done is each time my doc prescribes a new med I ask him for side effects - if he doesnt know off hand he gets out his book and looks it up - then when I go to have it filled I ask the same question and usually get more information - and I ask at that time if the new meds are going to work with the other meds I am on as some you shouldn't be mixing. But that was a lesson learned for me a long time ago - my doc is very understanding as when I go to him I ask a lot of questions sharing with him what I have found on the internet about the problem - his first reaction was 'oh no your trying to be a doctor' but he now says he wishes all patients would speak up and ask questions or share what they have read so that he can properly inform the patient.

Take care Jen - praying for both you and your mom
