I have not been very successful with this weight loss thing. My fault, all on me...Sparks has helped because I habitually log food and exercise. Believe it or not I love to exercise! Not the over the top - dead weight lifting or running for 5 miles but exercise, light weights, floor exercises and I Love to walk so I am good there. Now I am trying something different. I believe in Sparks - but it hasn't been enough - my company is paying for us to take Naturally Slim classes and I signed up. Only in week two but 1 1/2 pounds down. Naturally slim is somewhat different than Sparks in some things. Some of their advice I am not yet willing to try but I think if I somehow combine the two - both safe and verified programs for others that I may find my niche. 1st thing on my list - Eat less - observe calories but don't focus on their count for results. We tend to under count portions, we forget we ate, in a pinch we will look for the lowest calorie count on a food entered by multiple other Sparkers so we stay within our range. Well, I should speak for myself..I do. Don't eat until I am hungry...getting hungry is a good thing - it burns fat - eating before you are starving is a good thing - you will over do in eating if you wait too long. But if we practice we are really only, for real hunger a few times a day. Naturally Thin says 2 - I am old school and I will not give up breakfast, I will eat less though. I will let you know in a month how this works out - That's Oct 16th - Fingers crossed.
