Finally beating this, joined the fall challenge!

I'm on the weight warriors team! This was just the little kick in the pants I needed to finally get going. So far, I have been good every day this week! I'm hoping to reach my goal and finally get the scale going down again!

Some not so good news? I had to break out my big jeans again. My size 16-18s!

I'm only 5'1 so being at this high of weight is a LOT for me.

My favorite morning walks have been so much harder lately. I can no longer throw in any jogging. I used to love to run 5 minutes/walk 5 minutes or sometimes just run as long as I could.

I can no longer run at all. I can feel the heaviness, ugh.

But, I forced myself this week to get up and get out there!

I replaced my bad habit of eating a big breakfast after walking with getting a big cup of tea and water plus fruit and eggs (or if I'm not hungry just skip the eggs!)

It feels so good to feel like I'm getting my control back. I'm hoping to lose 5-10 lbs this month but I'll be happy with any loss on the scale tbh.

    I hope you have an excellent October.

    I had a challenging summer and fell off the running wagon so I committed to building strength and endurance for a stronger 5K run. I knew I had to incorporate other types of cardio, along with strength straining for nutritious foods. I'm thinking of myself as a car, can't operate correctly on low fuel and a weak structure.

    Since the end of July, I've cut over four minutes from my time and feel better as I finish than I did a month ago.
