not a bad day, all in all....

Even though work is just as crazy-making as ever.
Early doctor's appointment. My A1C was 5.9. That's NORMAL RANGE. Better than it's been in AT LEAST 5 years. So we can stop one of the meds which was probably only making minor contributions... yay. (Naturally, I wanted to celebrate having my diabetes under control by going out for a hot fudge sundae, but I resisted the urge.... )
The leg pain that I was afraid was the beginning of neuropathy probably isn't; there are other (less serious) things that would explain the symptoms better so we're going to try that & see if it helps.
And the shoulder pain that I thought was the beginning of arthritis is more likely because I've somehow injured my rotator cuff, referred to physical therapy, and it should heal up on its own.
Meanwhile, my old grill finally shot craps, so I got a better one... this is what was happening Sunday while I was writing up an exam:
I've been eating smoked chicken all week.
(And I sound kind of smug about that... well, maybe I am.)
