And so, COVID continues....

Two of my classes are allegedly on-campus in-person, but we're also streaming via zoom for students who are isolating. Over the course of the semester, students have been gradually voting with their feet; the number of students in the room keeps dropping, and on zoom climbing. Next semester I'm moving everything online. I'd rather be in the classroom, but the current situation is the worst of both worlds.
My weight loss is stalling out, AGAIN, right where it did before. This time, instead of getting discouraged and not following through, I need to stick to the plan. But my last A1C was good and I've cut the bedtime insulin dose almost exactly in half from where it was a year and a half ago. Not where I want to be yet, but better than I used to be.
And I've stopped asking what else could happen this year. It's already become more bizarre than I'd ever expected, I no longer want to know. Or, as I saw online:
Aliens: "Earthings! We have killed your leaders, destroyed your economy, and are taking over your government!"
Humans: "Oh thank God."
A step at a time, a day at a time, progress not perfection.....
