Short and sweet...

October can be challenging time for me in terms of balance and health.

I am happy to report that I logged in on SparkPeople yesterday and found just that small step was motivating. It made me happy to connect to just one SP friend...and then how fun to hear back this morning!

I synced my FitBit back up. I want to move more (as opposed to becoming more and more sedentary as the days get shorter). I want join back with the chair yoga that my mom and mother-in-law have so diligently continued while I have been back at the university teaching part time. I was happy to celebrate with them this morning as we did a runner/dancer stretch and they could hold the pose longer than they had 6-8 weeks ago.

I want to prepare to make good food decisions this month and as the holidays come and go.

So, I am typing this entry to "make real" my current 2-day streak.

Happy Fall SP Community...I am glad SparkPeople has continued over the years.

Point of Interest (POI) I just saw that my last blog entry was two months ago...to the day.
Taking a "break" from SP from 8/17 to 10/17 was not helpful. I hope to not go that long again without checking in.
