Not doing too well

I am struggling with arthritis, it seems to have come on so quick as it was only a a few years ago that I complained to my GP about pains in my legs,
Now I am having difficulty walking and have to use a mobility scooter to do my shopping, it is really getting me down. Because of my other problem I am not eating properly and worried that I may be putting on weight which of course is not helping me or the arthritis.
My husband is not coping at all well with the virus(keeps saying the government and people are overreacting to what's happening and I find this distressing too cope with too.

    Sorry about your arthritis and I hope you feel better soon. My husband wears a mask but not good at social distancing or washing his hands properly. He thinks I'm over reacting when I tell him to at least disinfect his wallet, keys and cell phone when he comes home. Or that he needs to be careful when taking off his mask. I'm the one wiping down the groceries, washing produce, containers and constantly disinfecting around the home. It's only me and him and we're seniors but I've started wearing my mask in the house. It helps knowing that I have the power to keep a clean and disinfected environment and to improve and protect my health, which puts me in the driver's seat and out of the victim's. It's stressful, exhausting and a lot of work but worth it when I think about the alternative. Best wishes.

    I am sorry to hear.

    I'm cooking up some salmon for some joint aches from yesterdays overdoing the walk. This inflammation stuff is no joke.

    I have friends on both sides of the virus debate. It's very stressful. These are not healthy times we live in.

    Refocus. Drink plenty of water and maybe get some good leg comprehension socks to help. You recognize the struggle so have the power. Good luck!
