My advice to a fellow sparker -now to follow my own advice!

To stop binging when arriving home after work:

In the morning or the night before plan what you eat when you arrive home. Have it waiting for you. Sit down at a table to eat it. Slow down. Savor it. Breathe to calm yourself down. You are tired, of course. Maybe set a timer knowing after you eat your snack you can eat something else. Treat it the same as the food you just ate. Hopefully, by now you are not so tired and anxious. Let us know if this helps.

Having the food planned and waiting should help calm the feeling that you'll never get satisfied.

Your inner beast has come to the surface when you got home. You won't have and control when that beast pops up! All the prior planning and good intentions will go out the window. A different part of the brain takes over and controls you. I taped images of a
"beast" to each of my cupboards and fridge to remind me about this beast part of my brain.
