Almost 2021 and SNOW!

Tuesday, December 29, 2020

Just got in from shoveling. I am getting too old to do this anymore. DH has a snowblower, but is very particular about how he likes it done. I am going to see how much it is to have someone do it for us. We have a couple friends that do it.

Saw my parents a few days before Christmas. My daughter dropped my present off on my porch as she was going to my ex-husband's families Christmas party. Then she texted me to let me know it was there. Did I not hear the doorbell? We talked on the phone Christmas Day, but it's not the same thing! After the new year I think I am going to visit her in the city.

I need to get in gear and lose some weight. I got my work out in and then it snowed....Bonus exercise!

Update: More snow, more shoveling/scraping off the ice! Did some floor exercises. My hips back and shoulders are a mess! I need to develop more strength in my core and supporting muscles. I have really let myself go. It is either get in gear here at home, or sign up for more physical therapy. Christmas is put away and my snowmen are out and the house is almost all in order. I still need to do upstairs. That has become storage this last year. I did get the closets cleared out, and clothes stored there. Now to finish the job. Declutter some more and decide which dolls and decor is going out as well. I have decided to wait until spring and have a huge garage sale and also Facebook Marketplace. I will also start selling dolls on ebay. Slowly but surely I will lighten the amount of stuff I have collected. I do not want my daughter to have to endure what we did when we moved my parents. I know she doesn't want my doll collection so I will sell most of it. My sister made a few of the dolls so I will keep them until her granddaughter is old enough to care for them and want them. I may give them back to her for her to store them! We will see. She looks like her heart hurts every time I mention getting rid of dolls. She has given me a lot of them!

A new year and I need to develop new habits! Here we go!

Hoping to change some habits in 2021. I need to stop waiting for my favorite exercise venues to open and do what I can. I have a lot of exercise videos and equipment. I just need to make use of it!
