MLK DAY and Running
Monday, January 18, 2021
This is such a special day for me because there is so much turmoil around us. My goal is to remain positive and do what I can to make things a little nicer in my part of the world. The vision Dr. King had for racial equality is slowly coming into fruition even with the setbacks we see around us. It is a time to remember the strides we’ve made and the progress yet to come.
I started my interval walk / running program from the beginning of the intermediate session. I was sad to start over because I felt like I was quitting. However, I didn’t want to injure myself. This app doesn’t recognize that I want to start over so after I finished, it took me back to where I left off before I got sick. So, I will try it Wednesday. If I walk, I walk. This is my lifestyle and I’m working to find what works. The pneumonia isn’t bothering me and today I got the results of my retest NEGATIVE 🥳 COVID for me and my son. The spouse and DD are still positive. We are all still quarantining. I’m still very achy like I’ve been hit by a bus but, this fat isn’t moving itself. I gotta fat these bad boys every day.
Tomorrow is strength training. I’m ready to get my body ready for the summer. There are some very tiny sun dresses with my name on them. TINY
For now, I’m trolling for sequins party dresses for next month. Oh I must post a side by side from last year
. It is something.
Have a great week and be safe!
