Holding Fast to 155. What I like most about this Jenny Craig diet is that I do not go up unless stress is overwhelming me. My weight, although at times stagnant, never goes up permanently.

But stress really affects my weight. Sometimes, I am so used to "living with stress" that I don't realize I have it. It is like lifting your shoulders up to your ears but you are unaware of it because you have built just strong shoulders that you are used to it. But I don't think the body is ever used to it. The blood pressure is always up and your heart becomes tired of "burning the candle at both ends". Your organs might be a mess. I am not an expect, I can only image and these are only my ideas.

Today, I am going to destress by going ice skating by myself. I haven't heard a word from insurance yet, except they are overwhelmed and we do not have someone assigned to us yet. So I am not going to worry about the mess, but just clean up around it and just keep moving with life. Dinner is already made for tonight. I will make a few beds and clean a few bathrooms and off I go to not think about anything but balancing on my skates.

Kids are off at school and clothes are clean. Weather is mild. Husband is working at home and on the phone with meetings. Life is almost back to normal.

    You are right to want to de-stress. Skating is a good way to do this. It looks like you will have to be patient with the insurance...
