Thank you to all for wearing your masks we are moving to the red!

Tuesday, February 23, 2021

Im not really sure what that means in its entirety but we are moving to the red tier from the purple tier. According to the news anchors that is a really good thing.

Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel.

If I heard right ,this is for Sacramento County but lots of other counties in California are ready to move also.

Seems our numbers and positivity rates are going way down

Great job everyone. Stay safe.

Back to a bit of COVID "normalcy". Our state is also trending downward inmost negative COVID categories: fewer daily cases reported, fewer individuals hospitalized, fewer deaths. More vaccines administered...

I wonder if some of the family exuberance and travel (of the holiday season) has abated and the waves of infection are calming as more people stay closer to home and practice masking, physical distancing, and handwashing again.

So important to continue to mask up even if lucky enough to get vaccinated.
So many are still waiting and with this crazy deadly virus about which so much is still unknown, we must err on the side of caution until we know if those protected by vaccine themselves are still capable of infecting others.

Still, the future looks a lot brighter than it did a few weeks ago.

Great post. See some really stupid people going about without masks.

Masks do seem to help. We have cloth ones but carry a package of disposable ones in each car in case we forget our cloth masks.
