You've come a long way baby!

This has not been a good week. I ate out nine (yes, nine!) times since last Friday, did cardio only twice, and not surprisingly, I gained half a pound. But looking at the big picture, I've still come a long way from when I started my program in January.

Today was the day to get my measurements done. My trainer said that if I didn't like the results, we didn't have to save them in the system, but I told him that if I couldn't be real with myself, what hope do I have? My measurements are what they are. Yes, I pretty much wasted the last two weeks, but when I compare today's measurements with what I had in January, I realize that I'm doing pretty well.

Anyway, I thought I would share my progress. My body fat percentage is measured using a four-site caliper pinch. The first measurement listed is from today (August 3, 2007), and the measurement in parentheses is from January 6, 2007. Circumference measurements are in inches.

Weight: 155 (175.5)
Fat %: 29.4% (37.8%)
Neck: 12 (12.25)
Chest: 34.5 (37.75)
U. Arm: 11.75 (13.5)
Forearm: 9.25 (9.5)
Waist: 33 (39.25)
Hip: 41.5 (45)
Thigh: 22 (26)
Calf: 14.5 (15)

The only thing I'm not totally excited about is losing is a cup size! LOL. But since pretty much all of my back fat went away with it, I guess I can't complain.
