Monday 8 am Rethinking the Situation

I am at 134 this fine Monday morning, I am telling myself I don't have to put that in tracker since I do my weigh-ins on Friday. But, I got to get back on track totally! I am having problems dealing with what to plan for supper and any meals shared with DH. This really bothers me, how am I ever going to stay healthy for life if I have to be so concerned about everyone elses likes and dislikes. I would really like to eat to life, not life to eat.
Which appears to be the philosphy of my husband. I do enjoy food, but I don't want my life to be consumed by it.

I would like to carefully plan my food intake and then go on to do other things, rather than all my activites to evolve around eating.

    What is it with us "old timers"? So many of my friends are struggling with the motivation factor. I put myself back to phase I today. Like you, I have GOT to get back on track!

    Morning FITNESS57 try not to be too upset I know exactly were you are coming from. My DH is eating slightly better these days, but he will not do any exercise at all, he is the couch potato. He is also at least 40-lbs overweight, has high bloodpressure and both his parents had heart failure.....well what does tell you and I...an awful lot right. Why is it that intelegent men just don't get IT!!! You have to put yourself first I am beginning to learn that and hopefully by doing so eventually our DH's will join in or follow by example. I have the same problem at evening meal time. I try to save some of my calories from during the day and use them up with my evening meal. Quite often we have the same"meat" but I may have a salad with mine and I give him oven fries or other bad stuff. Post on our thread and we may fine that most of our ladies could have the same problem or they even may have a good answer, you never know. Don't give in, put yourself first, remember at our age it is our time to shine.
