still on track

I weighed in Wednesday and the scale said I lost a pound. ...How is that possible? Now I'm expecting the craziness from last weekend to show up next week, or something. In any case, I've lost 30 pounds! It's almost surreal to me to think that just over four months ago I weighed over 200, and today I'm wearing jeans that haven't fit since 2004.
Yesterday (and today so far) I've continued to follow my program and eat within my calories. I don't really understand what has enabled me to bounce back so quickly, but I am thankful for it. Every day when I wake up I try to look at myself in the mirror and remind myself of the positive changes I've made in my life instead of focusing on things I'm still unsatisfied with, and I wonder if that positive outlook is helping.
Half a pound more and I'm no longer obese!! Then I'm just severely overweight, lol. I know BMI is really a crock when applied to individuals, that it's meant for populations as a whole and that body fat percentage is what's really important, but I can't stop myself from being really excited at the prospect of merely being classified as overweight again.
Tonight I'm going to start really pushing cardio; my workouts this week have been scarce because of my workload. It's time to really test out my new Dance Dance Revolution game after class tonight...that is, after I watch The Office ;)
This week: -1 miracle pound
Total weight loss: 30.2 pounds long gone!
