Holding steady

Monday, November 05, 2007

After the month that I had, I was amazed to see that the scale basically stayed the same (up .2 pounds, but with my scale that is insignificant). So much stress! There were many days where I did not use the tracker - days where I deliberately ate something I shouldn't have - but overall I must really be internalizing the lifestyle (at least nutrition-wise). My choices are more automatic, and I must be subconsciously adjusting for my slip-ups by choosing smaller portions and better foods. Woohoo! Now if I can start doing that same thing in the exercise department, the weight would probably start dropping off. All I need is the time, and I am working toward getting some of my time back for me.

thats great to hear! :) it's empowering isn't it, to automatically start making healthy choices! and your right, it's always more difficult with exercise, i still don't like it but you have to make yourself do it. do it first thing in the morning, you will be energized all day, and it won't be sitting on your shoulders all day because it's a task that still has to be done :)
