Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so thankful for so many things. I just don't dare try to list them but I'm learning new things thanks to my Pearls team and SparkPeople. I'm finally off the plateau and I hope to never go back.

Here the answer to the question on everyone's mind......

We have a pet Ball Python...named.....Suzie!!!! She's really cute (for a snake) but not very polite when she eats so I make my sons feed her. We also have a 20 year old cat named Crusader and a bunch of sharks and a Siamese Fighting Fish. We had a golden retriever who died of old age several years ago but since we are moving we are not replacing the dog.

I'm missing my airman son this Thanksgiving and wish I could fly out to see him for the day but I must be practical and wait until the flights are cheaper.

Hope all of you have a blessed day and don't end up gobbling until you are wobbling!!! (Especially my dancer friend!!)

    I know I am a little late reading this. But I am so happy that you are thankful for lots of different things. Hold onto to those little treasures in your heart! They help you through the rough stuff and make you smile in the really good times.

    I cannot belive you have a snake! You are nuts. Sharks? What?? Hopefully you will be able to fly out and see your son soon. I am sure he misses you as much as you miss him!

    Oh and I definitely ate until I was all wobbly :)

    I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. I had a hard time not flying my son home. I (like you) had to be practical and wait until Christmas. bummer!
    ps I don't think pythons are supposed to have table manners!

    Well umm.. maybe I'm glad I just go by Sue & not Suzie.. lol.. although most of my close friends do call me that!! lol.. I'll let Suz be the namesake!! Somehow, that wasn't the name I was thinking!! Wow.. you have quite the menagerie going on!! Snakes, sharks?? & fighting fish! oh my!! lmao

    At least you have a cat & had a dog.. some form of normal. When my son moved out he got a snake & a tarantula.. ick!! I told him if he ever had to move back home.. the snake I could deal with.. but the spider.. uh uh! lol I hate spiders!

    Sorry you couldn't be with your son for the holiday. Me either, mine is only 5 hrs away.. but he couldn't get away to come home. I'm hoping for Christmas, but if he can't I'll have to get some time off so I can go visit!
