I did boy pushups for the first time!

I've been doing "girl" pushups (knees down) since about June. The other day I saw a SP article about how to reach your new year's goal of doing perfect boy pushups. They recommended doing them on the stairs and making your way down, but my stairs are curved and wouldn't work. so today when it came time to do my pushups, I thought I'd just see how hard it was. To my surprise, I could do them! It was hard, but not too hard. I did two sets of ten!
Woo! This is definitely a step in the right direction. I started getting serious about strength training in the past two weeks, and I can already see a lot of improvements. My arms and stomach are definitely getting more toned. I had felt really flabby this fall, and it's because I almost completely stopped doing strength. I'm so glad I'm back on the plan!
