Day 2 - Week 2 of Training for 10K

Today was my hills day. It was a bitch. My knee was pretty stiff for the first 5 minutes then it went away then came back near the end. I took a little 15 second break to stretch it out some more and that seemed to help.
I think it's because of the strength training I did yesterday... Also I did step-ups before had which can be hard on the knees.
I'm really getting into this whole running and lifting weights thing. I was really dreading going to the gym this morning before I remembered how much fun I actually have there.
I tried to incorporate a little circuit training into my weight routine as I was starving like a botomless pit last night so I ate a bit more than usual (but didn't go over range for my .5 per week loss).
I really hope I get faster with the running. It's very hard for me to take this slowly at first. I think that this journey will help give me the patience with myself to slowly improve instead of expecting to be perfect right off the bat. I think that my whole weight loss / wellness journey can really be summed up by that lesson. It's amazing that a year later I'm still learning it.
I'm also having an angry day at work. boo. i don't know if this has anything to do with the fact that i'm eating in my upper range and I'm kind of disappointed in myself.
Let's hope I run on Friday... I'm going to have a late thursday night!
