Moving towards goals

I have been doing the Virtual 10k training for the past 3 weeks. As I looked ahead at the miles per day I would have to run...I was starting to doubt myself. Three miles in one day, then four...I will never be able to do that! That was my first mistake, defeating myself before even trying. I had to change my thoughts to I can do it and realize that I am not running against the clock at this time. I am only racing against myself. I set myself at a pace that I could do it and I did. It feels great to have accomplished something I never thought I could. This is just the beginning for me. I still have 9 weeks of this training to go and my husband is wanting me to run in a 10k race with him...we will see!

The scale also moved another 1/2 pound this morning so I know that all the hard work, including the running and the calorie counting is paying off!

Can't wait to see what the next few weeks hold.
