Second Week Completed!

I have completed two weeks of training for the 1/2 marathon on May 4th, 2008. Today was my long run, which consisted of six miles. I must say last Sunday it seemed easier, but I managed to finish the six miles in 65 minutes (little under 11 min/mile). My legs were buring the last mile and I was running into traffic. I ran some in the grass and that took a toll on my body, but the cars were not budging. It is amazing what the body can do once the mind is made up.

    You go! I've never really mastered the art of running so am always amazed an impressed with folks who can. Continued success with your marathon training!
