Just went for a swim in the cyberpool and now I'm ready for a little afternoon snack. May I please have a brownie (walnuts and rolos) with chocolate chip mint ice cream, hot fudge sauce, whipped cream, and a bunch of maraschino cherries? Ah, I'll just lounge here on the patio in my recliner with Useless. He likes the ice cream.

Welcome to the cyber-cafe, Junkdrawer and Woodsychick! Some fine orders, there. That flourless chocolate cake is a favorite of mine. I think I'll have a slice of that, too. And maybe some of those gooey, warm-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookies that Zzyyggy's eating. No, not the same cookies that you're eating, Zzyyggy! Just ones like them. And don't you growl and curl your lips at me! I'm not trying to steal your cookies! (Some of these wolves have such hair trigger tempers when it comes to their food!)

I'll just relax out here on the patio with my feet up. I was on them most of the day. A nice glass of wine would be lovely, too. Oh, thank you, Viktor!

That was sure some fine meatball baseball last night. I never knew we had such talented players!

A meatball sub please, with cheese, spinach leaves, sauce on a toasted roll.
Then the chocolate assortment platter and chocolate milk.

The place is rather quiet and I don't suppose any one wants to have a meatball fight, do they? Oh here comes Moxie ... she will catch any and all meatballs!

Oh, dim sum! Yum! We actually have an Asian Market here that does dim sum on the weekends. You have to get there early in the day. And you have to be able to eat pork. Sigh. Ah, but I can eat it here at the cybercafe. Yeah!

Choowy, this was a great idea. I love the fireworks, too.

Been a little busy today. Mostly getting the minivan organized and packed for travel. Friend took me out for Chinese tonight too. Sorry, I don't think I can even eat cyber-food at this point. And at least half of what we got is resting quietly in the refrigerator now.

Dumplings anyone? Both steamed and fried...

Wow, Choowy! You had me with dim sum, but that light show is fantastic! How great that you live close enough to go there. Thanks for bringing it to the cyber-café!

Now I'm going to grab a seat on the patio where Igor is pushing around the steam carts. I love dim sum, and haven't had any in over 11 years.

Believe it or not, Appalachia is not a hotbed of dim sum restaurants. So bring it on, Igor, I'm ready!

Helloooo? Anyone home? Boy, it's quiet here today. Hello, Viktor, I've just come by for afternoon tea on the patio. I'll have the Ladies Tea with scones, clotted cream, and lemon curd, assorted dainty sandwiches, and the cream cake for dessert. Darjeeling, I think, with milk and sugar, please.

Oh look, all of the cyber farm animals are out in the pasture. There's Mrs. Marley, dozing under that apple tree while her kids and Cinnamon Bun chase Roo around the pasture. How absolutely bucolic! Wish there was someone else here to have tea with, though. Guess I'll just have to read my book.

Hi all! I'll have what Linda's having, please, but leave the radishes off my salad. After dinner, I'll have a chocolate martini. For dessert, I will definitely hit the chocolate buffet. Brownies would be lovely to start, warmed with vanilla ice cream. Then some chocolate peanut butter cake, then a piece of chocolate truffle layer cake. Francois is such a wonder with desserts!

Wow! Now that's a chocolate fish!

Let's start with a baby field greens salad tossed with pistachios and thinly sliced carrots and radishes and dressed with balsamic vinaigrette. Followed by Pecan Crusted Sea Bass, with Parmesan Spinach Risotto, and oven roasted root vegetables.

For desserts we still have our chocolate buffet. We do need to add some Godiva Chocolate Liqueur.

Chocolate! German Chocolate Cake with vanilla buttercream icing would be lovely, too. Oh, and chocolate brownies with mini rolos baked in them. And a bowl of chocolate chip mint ice cream smothered in hot fudge sauce (with cherries) would be wonderful. Please and thank you, thank you, thank you!

It's so hard to lose Spark friends. No one hangs from the ceiling anymore. Aldy, I would like to be able to buy a new car for under $7000, wouldn't you? Let's put up some of the umbrellas. I'll just sit out on the patio under my umbrella and enjoy all the chocolate and the great company, too.

Choowie!!!!!! Welcome back - we've missed you! I'm glad you've survived your ordeal. May I say how svelte and fit you're looking? This calls for another round of chocolate on the house!

Aldy, we can always count on you for finding just the right website for any occasion. I really enjoyed that one. As Choowy said, it brings back fond memories! I know what you mean, Choowy, about missing Bottie and her custard dives. Every now and then, I check her page, hoping that she'll show up again. That's the downside to cyber-buddies. When they disappear like that you never know if they'll be back again. Sniff!

Okay, enough with the wallowing, Eabl! There's chocolate to be eaten. And will you look at that - it's past noon. Time for a lovely glass of chardonnay out on the patio. Wine and chocolate buffet on the patio, gang....can't think of a better way to pass the afternoon!

Good morning, all! Thanks to my Spark friends who joined in me in my chocolate truffle binge last night. Linda's right - chocolate is medicinal. With that in mind, I've having more for breakfast today (and possibly lunch... dinner is still up in the air). Let's see, for a little bit of a change (one can only eat so many truffles after all), I'll have a chocolate croissant, followed by a chocolate chip pumpkin muffin. Then I think I'll ask Francois to whip me up some nutella filled crepes with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Oh, he tells me he also has some fresh beignets on hand, with his special dark chocolate dripping sauce. That'll all be lovely, Francois, thank you! Feel free to join me, my chocoholic buddies!

Hi everyone! Wow, it's been busy here today. I'm here for some wine and a LOT of chocolate. Had a truly sucky day in the RW. I thought I'd hang out on the patio tonight with my Sparkfriends, put my feet up, drink wine, and drown my troubles in a pound or two of chocolate truffles.

Anyone care to join me? There's plenty - I'll share!
