Daily. I am accustomed to the normal fluctuations that take place, but I find that starting each day with a weigh in reminds me to be on track and focused on my goals: what I'm eating, activity, positive self-talk, etc. I know that doesn't work for everyone, but it does for me. emoticon

Infrequently, but I weigh when I feel like I've had a number of days doing well with the plan.I have not weighed in a few weeks. It is about time!!! emoticon

More than I should. Official weigh-in day is Tues. am, but after emotional eating binges I occasionally go through, I check my weight the morning after to help me alter behavior.

Agree with Mordalia. Daily weigh-in because it keeps me honest. It has also taught me that sometimes my body goes up a pound or so for no good reason at all; it's just a normal fluctuation. And I've stopped getting upset about it.

I tried the weekly, and monthly, weigh-in and found that I THOUGHT I was losing weight, but actually wasn't, and sometimes was even gaining.

I've also been reading lately that experts now say the daily weigh-in is not such a bad thing after all, and everyone should just do whatever works for them.

I used to wrestle in high school and college and we tend to be a bit obsessive about exact weight. It was normal to answer the question "how much do you weigh?" with "I don't know, I was 153 and a quarter this morning". I don't get stressed by the weight, I am interested in how intake...salt, water whatever effects my weight.

Once a week, Saturday mornings.

I get the urge to weigh myself in between sometimes, but I know that if I do, I start playing mind games with myself and the scale. And the scale always wins. So, I force myself to abide by the 1x/week weigh-in schedule.

Goal 1 - break 200 (46 pounds lost)**DONE**
Goal 2 - leave obesity behind (BMI 29.9, at 185#) **DONE**
Goal 3 - BMI = Normal (154# or less)

No emoticon for me right now. I used to weigh myself once a week, now I decided I would rather see bigger results when stepping on the scale. I will step on it when my clothes start to loosen up more. Yesterday I noticed my face was thinning yay! I also noticed that I kept pulling my pants up some after they would slip down a little from loosening up yay emoticon !

I weigh myself every morning. I don't know if I think I lose weight in my sleep. But it is an habit that I have. Can I enter my weight changes each morning? The weight tracker says to enter it in weekly.
