I set a new goal to have half my water by 10 am. (Water used loosely, including the herb tissanes I like) with half that being water when I wake up (14 oz coffee mug plus taking my supplements is easily 16 oz.) and the rest at breakfast and drinking during my work commute. I find this makes it simpler. Over the next 12 hours, it’s easy to drink another 32 oz.
As for all the “just drink it” people, I do drink mainly water. I just noticed I’d forget. Therefore I thought a thread on how people develop the habit would be useful for other sparkers.

Drinking water is a natural for me. It's pretty much all I drink. When want something different, I'll drink unsweetened tea with a little 100% fruit juice.
I **ALWAYS** have my water bottle with me. Currently using a 24oz Contigo. If I'm working away from the house, I also take a 1/2 gallon Coleman jug filled with ice water from our tap to refill my water bottle (we use a Brita filter on the tap).

I have a pitcher and glass in my living room. I also work from home and I have pitchers and reuseable cups with straws filled so I can drink throughout the day without having to get up and refill my cup which would ruin my productivity.

I have half a glass first thing with medication because I have to wait for over 1/2 hr before I can have anything else after taking the med, and apart from that, in the Winter, (which it is here at the moment) I mostly just have cups of tea and a Coffee/Chicory drink. In the summer I drink about 1 extra glass of water plus have very watered down juice or a little sweetened diet soda in water.
