I will get it in the store, but I vastly prefer a no oil added version I make at home.
A can of chickpeas, with the liquid, tahini from the store, lemon, garlic and spices.
I use all the liquid because I want something fairly thin but not runny.

For company, I’ll drizzle olive oil on top with sumac.

I love Costco's hummus. I hadn't even thought about making my own and I don't mind cooking.

My husband really likes hummus, me not so much. It’s a texture thing.

We buy ours at Costco, it doesn’t have any preservatives besides oil. I have made it before and it’s not hard to do.

We buy it.
Costco has it for less money than I can make it.

Homemade tastes a lot better and it isn't necessarily more expensive because a lot of the ingredients like olive oil and tahini, if you use is, are used in such small amounts that it lasts a bit.

I've been watching youtube videos on how to make hummus. Seems a lot of effort is involved (esp making the tahini) and it doesn't last long because there are no preservatives if you make it yourself.

I know that store-bought hummus is pricey but I think if you make it yourself, buying all the ingredients would cost a bit too. And it seems really messy to make.

So, I'd rather buy it ready-made. That's just the way I think.

How about you?
