Depends, i get upset if i have not lost when i weigh weekly so i now do about once a month.

I definitely think its a personal preference. When i first began I would weigh myself weekly, but that was not enough for me. I am a numbers person and I found weighing myself daily helped.

I understood that my numbers would fluctuate up to five pounds on a daily basis, but I needed the numbers. However, I only tracked my weight weekly. This gave me a line that I could follow to see the overall effects of my efforts.

I also spent some time trying to only weight myself monthly when I was close to goal weight because I knew that I would be building muscle faster than losing weight.

I am currently weighing myself daily because I am working on crunching a few numbers.

Just a thought...be careful with that. Sometimes daily weighing can hurt your motivation and be discouraging rather that encouraging. Have a great weekend.

Daily, but trying to get on the scale less. Daily fluctuations can be discouraging. After a great day, I can be as much as 3 or 4 pounds higher. (and I did not have a salty meal the day before!)
