I eat cereal about 3 x/week: 1 cup of Kellogg's All-Bran in 1 cup of soymilk, usually topped with either strawberries or blueberries. I also really love Grape Nuts, but the All-Bran is lower in calories as well as higher in protein and fiber.

I like whole grain cheerios... measure the portion, add some fruit (I love raspberries) and enjoy. I find I stay fuller with cereal and fruit for breakfast as long as I use milk on the cereal.

I don't eat eggs, don't like oatmeal. I've been eating cereal for breakfast for years now. What I eat is a mix of All Bran, with a couple tablespoons of homemade granola with almonds, and some raisins. Plus a small serving of yogurt with either berries (I buy the frozen ones and thaw them out) or crushed pineapple.

I eat cereal on my early morning shift before work. I eat spoon size shredded wheat. I have 9-12 almonds on the side and put berries in with cereal to balance it out.

I alternate between oatmeal (I love to add berries) and whole grain cheerios which aren't too bad as far as nutrition goes. I find that many of the cereals touting themselves as healthy are often loaded with calories, added fats, and don't taste all that good anyhow!

Most cereal is high in carbs and low in protein and fat. To remedy this, I often add ground flaxseed to cold cereal. Since you can't eat eggs, you might also consider adding some fruit and 1-2 tablespoons of nuts and seeds to your hot oatmeal. It's not only better balanced but much more satisfying (or, as one might say, satiating).

Raw oatmeal for me. I pour milk over it and put back in fridge for about 15 minutes.
The oatmeal soaks up the milk, ice cold mushy treat. No added sugar and no energy expended cooking it.
