I love most all types of music but for working out I love the 50's, the 80's and current pop music. Some of my current favorites include Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Lady Antebellum, Bruno Mars, and Meghan Trainor.

I guess a lot of it depends on what you like to do for exercise. I know the faster twmpo music works better for high paced activities like running but something a bit slower works for calmer activities like yoga. I agree with the Spotify suggestion. A coach for one of my run clubs uses a Spotify running playlist that is a lot of fun.
