Hi UNDERGROUNDGEEK,

Most pictures get uploaded correctly to SparkPeople. But, when you have trouble like you describe, it may help if you rotate the picture on your computer (so from portrait to landscape in your example) and then upload it. Hopefully, the process will flip it around so it appears correctly when you upload it then.

Hope that makes sense!

By "right side up," do you mean landscape (more wide than tall?) Mine was taken in portrait (taller than wide), that's the way it should have been, it displays that way on the preview on my camera, on the computer, in 2 different web browsers AND 2 different image viewers, but it displays on the goal feed in landscape, sideways. So if the picture is in portrait orientation, it's going to get rotated to landscape?

Hi,

Depending on where you are uploading the picture, you can also try using the rotate function that is available on many of our upload windows. For example, after selecting a photo to upload into a blog using the app,I tap on "Update Photo" and then tap the Rotate icon to turn the photo 90 degrees at a time. I am not sure if that function is available for all photos; if it's not, then you would need to do the option that LuAnn posted.

Hope that helps!

I copied this from a post below yours...
"You would need to use a photo editing app or software to rotate it to be right side up, then save it. Once you do that, you can upload it here and it should be right side up.
