Sorry for not being clearer on how to do that. Here are better instructions:
- Go to your Nutrition Tracker page on SparkPeople (not SparkRecipes). - Click the "Recipes" tab in the Tracker. - Click the dropdown for "Shared Recipes" and then select the Ranch dressing recipe. - Check the box for " Add this Food to My Favorites". - Click "Add Food to Tracker" (you can go ahead and delete it from your tracked foods after doing this).
Now go to SparkRecipes and edit the recipe where you want to add your Ranch dressing as an ingredient. On the Add Ingredients page, click where it shows "Or Choose a Favorite" and select your Ranch dressing from that list. Be sure you enter the right number of servings to match your total recipe. Finish editing and save your recipe.
