Okay. If you decide you want to change that setting in the future, here's how to find it on our site:

- Let you cursor hover over your username in the upper right area above.
- A small menu will open. Click on "Account/E-Mail Preferences".
- Scroll down that page and click the orange button that is in the "How My Daily Calorie Range is Determined" section to change which option you use. You can switch back and forth at any time.

I hope that makes sense. Take care!

Thanks Spark_Merle,
I didn't find the page where I can unlink my fitness and nutrition but I'm not sure I want to do that anyway. So for now I've disconnected my fitbit and am manually putting in my steps each day.
Thanks again!

Hi,

Sorry, but, we do not have a way to sync your steps without also getting your activity and estimated calories burned. If the calories sent to us by Fitbit seem too high (they are on my account as well), you have a couple options that may help:

1 - Click the red X next to the Fitbit activity on your Fitness Tracker page to delete it. You will have to wait until the next day to remove it, otherwise it will show up again when your device syncs again for that day.

2 - Turn off the communication between your Fitness and your Nutrition page so those high estimates do not affect your nutrition ranges. There is an option for this on your Account/E-Mail Preferences page.

Hope this helps!

I've been fighting with my fitbit. I have (or did until today) my fitbit connected. Thought what great time saving feature! BUT now my calories are all messed up. It reports that I've burned calories that I cant imagine that I have, making my fitness goal tracker all crazy. Does anyone know if there is a way to ONLY sync the number of steps you did in a day?
