Hi! Yup, me too getting married 2nd time and want to make this really what WE want. If not for the pandemic, we probably would have done it this year, but now we're looking at next summer. It'll be very small.

The first time, my parents spent a TON of money for a big fancy wedding with lots of guests. It ended in divorce after 20 years.

This time, our wedding will have 14 guests, be on state game land and be very very casual.

Actually, I'm enjoying planning this wedding so much more than I did the first one.

One thing the pandemic has taught me, is huge expensive weddings are not neccessary. As if I didn't already know.

I know people who are having/ have had Facebook Live weddings.

You're just as married if you get married at the courthouse. Or in your back yard.

You really don't need a lot of money to get married.

So originally we were going to get married Aug 7 2020 and then changed our mind due to money. So now we're talking next summer and haven't set a date yet because, well money. I am almost 100 lbs over what I want to weigh and am terrified I won't lose the weight before the wedding, even though we have no date set
