I thought about running all day today. I woke up and decided I was going to run. Went to lunch- was thinking about running after work. Just couldn't wait to get out there. Just couldn't wait for the after glow, really.

And when the time finally arrived, I was nervous of all things. I actually psyched myself out. I was worried that I was going to have a terrible run and punk out after the first mile or so.

Thankfully, with a new music mix and conscious effort to adjust and adapt to what my body experienced, I had an AMAZING run. I shaved 9 minutes off of my last run time. I could not believe it!!

Screw what the scale said this morning- this feeling is so much more important.
... now to conquer dinner....

Life would be much more upbeat if there was just background music no matter when or where you were doing things.
