Interesting ride yesterday, with the warmer temperature the snow turned to slush. The icy sections had puddles of water on top of the ice. Thank god for studded tires!

Global fat bike day was yesterday! I went for a big ride with some friends. It was fun! 3 hours 29 minutes moving time. And I’m off to ride again with a huge group to celebrate the fat bike again today, hopefully I’ve got some gas in my legs still!

Oh my goodness riding in the snow is so fun! With every different type of snow (or ice) you have adjust how you ride. Balance is often challenging, and learning how to go with the sliding is kinda cool. I think I’m a better winter driver because of what fat biking has taught me.
