Personally, I like having the fitness and nutrition tracker linked so that my nutrition goals vary based on the amount of fitness I do. However, when doing this you really have to be careful that you accurately track your fitness. Many people overestimate how much fitness they actually do, and that would lead to adding back too many calories into your nutrition goals.

I took a look at your account and see you have your Fitbit linked. In my experience, the estimated calories that sync over from Fitbit are way too high, and I would never eat back as many calories as Fitbit says I burned. I know that varies by person so I cannot tell if that is the case for you as well or not; but, I wanted to point it out so you might take a look at what calories burned Fitbit reports for you and see if that seems reasonable for your actual amount of activity. It is something to keep in mind when looking at your nutrition goals each day.

I hope this helps.

If you do not have them linked then your goal calories burned are used to add back calories. So if your goal is 700 per week then your ranges will be higher by 100 calories per day. Works if your goals are accurate for what you end up doing.

-google first. ask questions later.

Quick question: Do you have your calories for exercise linked to be "added back" to your calories intake for the day? Just trying to get an idea for the best approach. Why do you link or why not? Thanks.

**I have them linked at the moment. I find this helps me stay on track but, I am looking at options. Thank you.
