Wow, that was a CLOSE one! I woke up later than usual & didn't have time to make my lunch before heading off to work. Visions of a filet o fish sandwich and fries from McDonalds danced in my head all morning, and I couldn't wait to devour it!

Then I thought about why I'm on SparkPeople to begin with and how this would just be defeating the whole point...and I knew eating that garbage would do me no good.

So instead of the filet o fish, I went to Subway & got a 6" veggie on wheat bread...then I walked 2 laps around the block. YAY ME! emoticon

The 2nd half of the lunch sized portion of Indian food I got for our ladies lunch yesterday - Saag Paneer with jasmine rice and half a naan!

It was sooo hard yesterday to behave and only eat a little rice and half my lunch sized portion - but so worth it today to have the other half! (and worth it in the calories for sure!)
