My Mom and her bestie convinced me to give Freestyle WW a try. Back years ago I did it when it was smart points and consistently lost about a pound a week. I've been on WW Freestyle for 7 weeks. First week I lost 5 pounds, I've lost zero in the last 6. I've chatted online through the app with coaches and done everything they suggested. I limit my zero point foods, I am down to drinking water, one cup of coffee and cashew milk (eww) and nothing. I'm also walking a lot more with my Fitbit (I have a very large chest so to keep myself and others safe I walk instead of Zumba, lol.). Just out of curiosity I put two days worth of what I ate in SP to see what my calories were. It's no wonder I'm just maintaining. I think the points system was way better. The freestyle program just has too many things not regulated. On smart points you were told to eat x amount of veggies, x amount of dairy etc each day. Freestyle is a free for all with no such suggestions. Yeah go ahead and eat all these zero points foods you will lose weight. No. I do not eat a dozen eggs or three chicken breasts because they are zero points now, but I really think there should be better guidelines. Such as.... chicken is zero until you eat x amount then it counts as x points." I paid for 3 months on the WW app so I'm going to finish it out but I think I'm canceling it after that. I'm very sad.....I don't expect to just drop my 50 pounds in a week but dang, even just 1/2 a pound a week would make me ecstatic. Depressed....... just feel like I wasted 7 weeks of my life for nothing.
