I found these Quaker Buttermilk Ranch Rice Crisps= 130 calories per 17 crackers. I absolutely love them. Sticking to Adkin Bars and Fiber One for my chocolate fix and an occasional sugarfree Whitman's chocolate but you can't eat more than 2 they will give you bathroom issues.

Cheese and fruit is usually good- cheese sticks, wheels, triangles, or better cheese (get them used to good stuff!)
Mine liked veggie pouches. Peter Rabbit (Pumpkin Tree brand) had some good ones, though there is usually an apple or pear base, so the sugar is not low but they do get veg that way. My son would eat the spinach one though he would not go near spinach any other tie when he was that age.
Plain greek yogurt and fruit (maybe some veg) "ice cream" smoothie is still a common one for my kids.

Some great ideas have been provided. I also would suggest string cheese, other cheese sticks, and/or cottage cheese. Hard boiled eggs, too. Tasty with a bit of healthy fat and protein.

I like offering fresh seasonal raw veggies and fruits if needed between meals. Provides antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber to tide them over between meals without spoiling their appetites too much for mealtime.

The same healthy snacks you should be enjoying!! emoticon

Greek yogurt is a favorite of my granddaughters; Cheerios; cheese and whole grain crackers; apples; almost any berries...

My kids love cherry tomatoes and mini cucumbers (you'd have to cut the cherry tomatoes in half for the 9 month old). They like uncooked fruits and veggies in general. Applesauce is the exception - they love that too.

The trick is to keep it simple. I think my kids distrust anything that looks like I put a lot of effort into. lol

As many others, we grandparents are regular care givers of 9 month old and 3 1/2 year old grand daughters. I would appreciate low sugar snack ideas, limited grains.
Thank you!
