Mushrooms. I dislike everything about them, taste, texture, mouth feel, everything.

Being positive is a choice so remember, “Every day is not good, but there is something good in every day." Each morning seek the positive and you will have a good day. Also, with God, all things are possible.

Fruit mixed with something savory like mango salsa or blueberries/strawberries on a tossed salad. Yuck! Love the fruit just leave it out of savory dishes. Eat it alone or with dessert :)

There hasn't been a lot of beet haters here! That's my big one! I try to like them because they are good for you, but they taste like dirt to me! I just can't! I will eat beet greens, I actually like those.

Organ meats or entrails of any kind...just can't get past it! Plus they usually stink too!

Anything overly sweet...I don't like even bananas because they are too sweet for me. I like the taste, but I just can't do all that sweet! I am more a sour fruit person.

Okay, I have to say for all you people mentioning liver. Most people in the U.S. do not like liver, so it's odd for you to mention this on a list of foods most people love.

Nobody can have it all, you can only have what you love most.

LOL, for me it's the other way around. I LOVE ultradark chocolate, like 90%. I rarely have to share.

What I don't like: Marmite. YUCK. I guess you have to be a Brit to like it. Veggiemite also for the Aussies. I'll stick with peanut butter, thank you.

Macaroni and cheese from a box, processed cheeses, and nacho cheese sauces, tapioca, and overly sweetened desserts - the kind with candy bar pieces, cookie crumbs and whipped topping and most things called "death by chocolate." Too much of a great food becomes an "ick".

There are only three foods I don't like; coffee, cranberries, and tomatoes. The coffee is actually easier to avoid than the other two. The tomatoes I can tolerate if they aren't the main star of the dish. A little bit of tomato in a dish actually brings out the other flavors but if it's more than 5% of the dish it starts overpowering it. Unfortunately, most people put so many tomatoes on things that I often want to ask if I can, for example, have some meatloaf with my tomato sauce.

The real trouble though is cranberries. Terrible to begin with, mashing them up and adding sugar only makes them worse. In their mashed (or liquefied), sugar injected, form cranberries seep into any food they touch and saturate it with its disgusting flavor like mercury into human skin. Oil spills can be cleaned up but cranberry juice or sauce cannot be removed from food once they have contaminated it. Worse just a little will permeate the food with the sickening taste of cranberry.

It used to be that I only had to find inventive ways to prevent my mom from putting cranberry sauce on my turkey at Thanksgiving or suffer through the natural cure for a yeast infection. But now cranberries are everywhere and have spread their horizons far beyond being a punishment for not eating probiotic foods and a pox upon a traditional yearly feast.

Mushrooms. Won’t eat them in any form. They are called fungus for a reason.

Liver. If it was the only meat available, I would be a vegetarian.

Avocado. Just don’t like the mouth feel of this item.

Oatmeal. Good thing I stick with low carbs/keto because every plan I run into seems to have some kind of oatmeal or other grain I don't like on the breakfast menu.

Hemp seeds. Or rather their addition to "sweet" foods like granola or smoothies, etc. Maybe it's just the brand I get (I pick it up from the bulk spice area at my local Sprouts), but to me, it has a distinctively savory flavor to it like thyme or cumin, so for the life of me I don't get why people insist on adding them to stuff like the above-named dishes. I'd rather use ground flax or chia seeds, instead.

Not a big fan of olives, either. I don't mind cooking with olive oil, but if a salad or something comes topped with chopped up black olives, I pick them out.

Coconut is one of the few things that I actively despise. Like FOXGLOVE999, I find the smell overpowering and repulsive --- but I also can't stand the taste or texture of any part of the thing. I've tried the oil for cooking (ruined my food), the water (literally made me gag), and the meat in various forms and absolutely hated them all. Fortunately, the rest of my clan adores the stuff, so I didn't end up wasting my money by trying them - I just foisted them off on someone who liked them.

I'm also not a fan of avocado (it's almost okay, but nowhere near good enough to justify the cost, in my opinion), although I do like the flavour of avocado oil, especially for roasting bitter greens.

The main thing that turns me off of other foods is texture - anything "fuzzy" gives me the screaming heebies. Olives, peaches, some beans - I just can't get past the "fuzzy". I'm sure that the only reason that I like kiwi fruits is that I only had them already peeled for a few years --- but got totally creeped out the first time I watched my husband eat one peel and all (just bit into it like an apple). I know that it's all in my head, but I honestly haven't enjoyed even a peeled one as much since then...

The big one is bananas. I hate even the smell of them. And, coconut, again it's the smell. I've been known to leave a place just because someone has slathered themselves in coconut oil.

Nobody can have it all, you can only have what you love most.

chocolate orange flavoured anything... I like both on their own, but together it makes me shudder.

Olives as well, I can't even stand food cooked in olive oil if the taste is strong.

I have the same problem as Niteman...lol. There are very few foods I dislike.

However, sweet potatoes are one of the few I strongly dislike. I basically find them disgusting. The texture is weird and they're "sweet". Blech,

I did find 1 recipe where I like them it but that's about it. And if I am treating myself to some French fries, they better be made from regular old potatoes. emoticon

For me, I'd say pizza.
