A special woooo hooooo to you guys with no dishwasher.
My grandmother moved into senior housing, with her FIRST dishwasher, when she was 96 years old! She didn't struggle with dishes or housekeeping.

I didn't live in a house with a dishwasher until I was in my 30's. I've struggled with dishes... with and without dishwashers.

My goal today: Do not put dishes in the sink "just for now".

OMG! its like you are catering to my lacking! I always felt like I was the only one to be behind on dishes. I hate doing them, no dish washer and 5 ppl to wash after! ugh!!

Made an early Thanksgiving dinner and baked cookies today.

AND my kitchen is clean and the dishwasher is running.

Challenge: Load the dishwasher or wash the dishes every evening (or morning or whatever time works best for you!) Welcome to anybody that wants to join me!

EDIT: Oh yeah... and unload clean dishes, too. LOL!

I really struggle with housework.

I recently read a book that really made an impression on me. (Book is: "How to Manage Your Home Without Losing Your Mind" by Dana K. White. She also has a website and podcast. www.aslobcomesclean.com/manage-home-withou
t-losing-mind/
).

Her number one suggestion is, "Do the dishes. Every day."
As my kitchen goes... so goes the rest of my house.

Plus, my weight is better when I can actually use my kitchen. emoticon
