Way to go!! That's amazing. You can try to going for a little walk at lunch. around your building or in the parking lot. I do that a lot. Also, when I go home, at night I do walk away the pounds with Leslie Sansone. You can go on youtube to watch those. if I'm having a low motivation day, i'll start off with the 15min mile. Sometimes I end up doing more. check her out and tell me what you think.
I weighed in this week and I lost some weight. Woo hoo. I was not expecting any loss this week as I am just getting into logging in food, and making healthier choices. Exercise is hard for me - both finding the energy and the motivation feels like trying to ice skate up hill. Any suggestions are welcome :)

Hoping to find someone who wants to lose 40 pounds! I have been going under my calorie goal this week (not intentionally, just how life worked out, plus I didn't feel all that hungry), but last night, I wanted to EAT! I ate some un-scheduled food. It all started after my husband took out ice cream and forgot about it on the counter (WHO could forget about ice cream?!?)... I found it quite SOFT... and you can guess what happened from there! I really didn't do too badly, though, for me (ice cream is my all-time favorite) - probably ate 2 cups worth - ha ha - better than the remainder of the carton! I am doing well drinking a lot of water. I"m also in the process of weaning off of Nexium (omeprazole), so I've cut out adding splashes of juice to my water and drinking any carbonated drinks, including Zevia, which is 0 calories, but not great on acid reflux. I currently have gone 5 days with no omeprazole , and I only had to take Zantac on the first day of this 5-day stretch and one last night b/c we had frozen burritos for dinner - apparently didn't agree with me. I'm keeping a log of what I eat and when heartburn occurs so that I can start to avoid these foods.

I started this same topic in "Staying Motivated" - I thought I was in "Challenges." Sorry! Either way, it will be nice to have friends with which to diet! My goal is to lose 1.5 pounds/week and be DONE on August 31!!! I hope someone will join me who has a similar goal!
